Enjoy our hospitality

Our family is dedicated to creating a unique experience for all our guests, from honeymooners to couples and families, so we invite you to read these terms carefully. Do not hesitate to contact us at trudy@stayatripples.co.nz if you have any questions, it will be our pleasure to help.

Families with children

Whilst we warmly welcome families and children to share our beautiful sanctuary at Ripples, we have unlimited access to flowing water. Our guests' safety is super important to us and under New Zealand Health and Safety laws we do not accept children from 0-6 years old, also no infants. We ask that you do not book guests that pose a risk of drowning. All other children need to be constantly supervised by a sober adult.

 

Non-smoking

As required by New Zealand Law and as the well-being and comfort of all guests at Ripples is important to us, we have a non-smoking and a non-vapping policy that applies to our cabin.

 

Arrival & Departure

Our normal check-in and check-out times are 2:00 pm and 10:00 am respectively. 

 

Cancellations

• • Cancellations 14 days or more before your stay are refundable less a 3% credit card fee plus a $25 administration fee, however, we much prefer to rebook you as you don't want to miss a stay at Ripples.

  • Cancellations received 7 -14 days prior are 50% refundable.

  • Cancellations within 7 or fewer days of your date of arrival are non-refundable.

  • All changes to bookings will incur a $25 administration fee.

  • If you wish to change your booking please contact us.  

 

Changing your dates

Please contact us directly if you wish to change your dates. This will incur a $25 alteration fee

 

Minimum length of stay

Ripples Retreat has a 2-night minimum stay, and a 3-4 night minimum on long weekends, Summer holidays and Easter. 

 

Visiting

Ripples Retreat respects the privacy of our guests. Should you wish to visit us in consideration of a possible stay or wedding, please contact us to schedule a time when we will be able to host you and show you around our special place.

 

Dogs

As we are a working farm with young lambs, unfortunately, we cannot allow pets at Ripples.

Parties

Ripples has a NO party policy.

Campavans. RV's

We do allow campavans and RV's at Ripples at a charge of $50 per person per night. The maximum total number of people who can stay at Ripples and in a campavan per night is 6. For example:

3 in the cabin and 3 in the campavan.
