Just outside the rural village of Piopio, Cascade is ideal for small families, or couples travelling together.

Swim, kayak, fish, or head out exploring caves, waterfalls and Hobbit film locations — then come back to slow evenings, shared meals, and space to unwind.

This family-size rural retreat cabin near Waitomo, Cascade is our larger second cabin, featuring a luxurious master bedroom with plush carpeting and linens, an electric fireplace, and captivating original artwork inspired by the beautiful surroundings. It also features a larger designer indoor and outdoor kitchen with generous bench space,complete with a dishwasher, a large fridge-freezer, 4-burner electric hob and all the equipment you need to whip up delicious meals.

Upstairs, a proper staircase leads to an A-frame loft with two double beds and 6’2” at the peak. A cosy nook under the stairs is perfect for little ones. And there's no shortage of games, books, and Wi-Fi for easy, relaxed days.​​​

If your dates don’t show, try adding a night or two.
