Frequently Asked Questions
1. How big are the AIRcel bioreactors?
Each AIRcel bioreactor measures 92cm (H) x 36cm (W) x 36cm (D). They weigh 10kg when empty and 35kg when full.
2. Will they take away capacity/table space?
Absolutely not. An AIRcel is designed to fit any room and can be placed in any space which normally doesn’t get used.
3. Will it stop the spread of Covid-19?
While there is no technology that we know of that can completely claim to stop the spread of Covid, an AIRcel can definitely help. It has been proven to capture SARS-CoV-2 particles (the virus responsible for Covid-19) and you are able to test the bioreactor for these traces using our U-Alert system should you so wish.
4. How does a Pure Air Restaurant work?
An AIRcel works using electrostatic, water and U-Ox. Charged particles of any size or type are drawn towards the AIRcel using molecular charge attraction, and they are subsequently neutralised by the U-Ox within the bioreactor. The pure air is then returned to the room.
5. How much maintenance is required?
An AIRcel bioreactor should be topped up once a week with water to ensure the U-Ox is working to maximum efficiency. U-Ox should be topped up once a month, while the AIRcel itself requires a clean only a few times a year.
