Wi-Fi is now installed at Ripples. Data is generous but not unlimited so feel free to download and watch movies on your devices or arrange all those Zoom meetings from here, but please do all your system updates before you arrive. Ripples is a beautiful spot to relax and just switch off, so if you need a digital detox (which our previous guests have loved!) please ask us to turn off the Wi-Fi when you book and you won't even know it's there when you arrive. We have “two-bar” cellphone reception on the Spark and Skinny networks. Vodaphone and other networks are a 10 min drive away. There is no TV.

Our designer kitchen at Ripples has a 2 burner electric cooktop, a full fridge with filtered water and a 2 drawer freezer. It is fully equipped with everything you will need to cook and serve a meal for up to 5 people. There is a lidded gas BBQ outside. To use this as an oven: Remove 1 of the grills before you turn it on, and leave the other to 1 side. Heat the BBQ to temp - it has a temperature gauge Turn off the burner under the remaining grill, place the food to be baked in one of the cast iron pans supplied, and place it on this side. (not on the side with the burner still going as it will burn the bottom) Enjoy!
